10 Tips to Reclaim Your Life


Many women have lost claim on their lives because we give so much of ourselves to others. We are someone’s wife, mother, child, sister, friend, employer, employee… you name it.

There is a saying that’s derived from a Psalm 23:5 that says, “My cup runneth over: What runs over is for you, but what in the cup is for me.” The issue is, most women are not living from a place of fullness. Not only do they not have an overflow, but many women have empty cups that need to be filled.

Here are 10 tips that will help you to fill your cup and reclaim your life so you can be a blessing to God, others, and yourself.

1) Slow down. Revamp your schedule so you can slow down and make time for yourself.

2) Create healthy boundaries. Don't let people use you. Learn to say "no" and "yes" on purpose.

3) Check in with yourself throughout the day. Check your thoughts, words & actions to make sure they are in proper alignment.

4) Meditate and relax daily. Consciously relax your spirit, soul and body.

5) Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet. You will feel better both inwardly and outwardly.

6) Start a gratitude journal. List at least 5 things you are grateful for daily.

7) Enjoy your life. Have fun.

8) Change your environment. This will give you a new and fresh perspective on life.

9) Do something special for yourself. It's okay to pamper YOU!

10) Adopt a new system of beliefs. Out with the old, in with the new.
