As a life coach and a life-class facilitator, I'm always teaching people how to be, do and have all that God desires for them. The biggest lessons I teach people are 1) they can't do it without God, and 2) they can't do it without putting in the work. So many people want to have a better life, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. However, to have a better life you must be willing to expand. With expansion, there can be discomfort, but if you can push past discomfort you will successfully increase your life and shatter the glass ceiling into next level living. Here are 10 ways to expand your life so you can be, do and have what you desire.
1. Expand Your Knowledge Base
Knowledge is power, but applied knowledge is life-changing. Therefore you need to read books, learn a word a day (Dictionary.com), take a class, learn about world affairs, or learn a new language. Do something that will allow you to gain more knowledge.
2. Expand Your Culinary Skills
It's always great to cook and eat healthy meals. Learn new recipes, taste different cuisines, explore your taste buds, or take a cooking class. This not only increases your knowledge or world cuisine, but it also increases your health when you choose to eat and be healthy.
3. Expand Your Capacity to Believe
You will only achieve what you believe. So it is imperative that you increase your beliefs by listening to positive material, reading positive books, speaking positive affirmations over your life, and watch positive programs on TV (no Basketball Wives, Love & Hip Hop, or Real Housewives).
4. Expand Your Money Threshold
Do you want more money? Then you'll need to read books about money, give to charity (the best way to receive is to give), save money, invest money, budget your money, create a mission statement for your money, and spend money wisely.
5. Expand Your Comfort Zone
Notice I didn't say "step out" of your comfort zone. Expanding your comfort zone makes your life and comfort level just that much bigger, so go ahead and do something you've never done before, take a chance, wear something you've never worn before (with class and modesty of course), or go somewhere you've never gone before. Do something different!
6. Expand Your Relationships
Be were made to connect with people and interact with them. To make the most of your relationships you should BE more than you've been before, open yourself to receive new people into your life, and also BE to the people in your life what you want them to be to you in return.
7. Expand Your Vision
The Law of Vision states, "If you can see it, you can have it." So you must see your life expanding. You may do this by writing a vision statement, creating a vision board, and spending time envisioning the life you want. Also, surround yourself with people who share a similar vision as you.
8. Expand Your Happiness
Happiness is not based on things that is happening. Happiness is a product of having unspeakable joy on the inside of you and determining that no matter what is happening around you, you still choose to be happy. Therefore think happy thoughts, do things you love, listen to happy music, smile often, play hard, and more than anything be a person of love! Love always attracts happiness.
9. Expand Your Ability to Hear from God
God is the only person you should depend on to chart the course of your life. Therefore you must hear and obey all that He instructs, leads, and guides you to do. To hear Him you must: develop a relationship with Him, read the Bible daily, pray daily, spend time in worship daily, and spend time being quiet (listening) daily.
10. Expand Your Heart Space
The heart is where all the issues of life flow from you (Proverbs 4:23). It is important to keep your heart pure by guarding it against negativity. The rule of thumb is, if it does not glorify God or make you feel good then don't allow it into your heart - people, music, books, websites, opinions, etc.
How I Can Help You:
The life we all currently live is a direct result of our thoughts, words, beliefs, and level of self-love. As a life coach, I've learned over the years that although many people know what to do to change their lives, they often don't do what it takes because they need personal direction, motivation, and accountability. Because of that, I created the Inner Work Coaching Program, a personalized one-on-one program where I walk you through the processes to discover and align with your True Essence so you can live a life you love.
The sessions are all-encompassing with inner work and self-love as the foundations and range in a variety of focuses: spiritual development and alignment, improving your self-image, emotional healing, soul balance, goal setting, and achievement, building your mental fortitude, healthy relationships, creating empowering habits, building your beliefs, time management, life and home organization, business strategies, and consultation + much more.
I would be honored to work alongside you helping you do your inner work towards living a life you enjoy in all aspects. To learn more and sign-up today, click here>>
